200 years of Newtown

Newtown Baptist Church actually began in Townfield Yard on Waterside. The congregation relocated to this ‘new’ part of the town in 1914, although completion of the building was delayed by the First World War. We invite you to join us as we thank God for his goodness and faithfulness to us as a church over the last two centuries.
