Mark Richards
Mark joined the church in Newtown in 1989 and was appointed pastor in 2003. He is married to Chris and they have two daughters. Mark became a Christian mainly through the influence of his school’s Christian Union. In the gospel of Jesus Christ he found something deeply and enduringly satisfying. He still cannot imagine anybody offering him anything better. Mark studied Religion and Politics at the University of Manchester and afterwards trained and worked as an accountant. For relaxation Mark enjoys eating with family and friends, fresh air and exercise. He keeps a few chickens, grows runner beans, tries to swim, run, and, when he can, walk in mountains or along the coast.
Clive Gullett

He and his wife Marguerite have two children, Andrew and Katie and 5 grandchildren. Clive’s background is in building and has worked most of his life in the family firm in Chorleywood and Chalfont. He has found early morning devotions in Mathew Henry’s commentary to provide many times of blessing and helpful teaching.
David Mortimer
David Mortimer was raised in Chesham and has been part of Newtown since his teenage years when became a Christian.
